MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys hockey team dominated from start to finish, pounding Eau Clarie Regis/Altoona/Chippewa Falls McDonell 13-0 to finish off a sweep of its two games at the annual Andrew Thiel Memorial Tournament on Saturday at the Marshfield Ice Arena.
Marshfield (5-4-1) scored seven times in the first period, once in the second, and added five more in the third to finish off the win.
Nick Urban and Evan Weister each had two goals and two assists, Payton Smith had a goal and three assists, and Damyon Hains added a pair of goals for the Tigers.
Marshfield returns to action Jan. 3 at home against Merrill/Wausau East.
