MARSHFIELD – Desirae Weisenberger and Danielle Minsaas each had career-highs to lead the Marshfield girls basketball team to a 48-36 win over Oshkosh North in the consolation game of the Marshfield Holiday Tournament on Saturday afternoon at Marshfield High School.
Marshfield (3-4) led 23-14 at halftime and held off the Spartans (0-8) from there.
Weisenberger finished with 15 points and five rebounds, Minsaas had 14 points and four steals, and Kaydee Johnson added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Tigers.
Paige Preston added six assists and four rebounds in the win.
Hudson won the tournament title, beating Wausau West 57-47.
Marshfield returns to action Jan. 3 at home against D.C. Everest.
