Nick Urban and Sawyer Schindler each had two assists for the Tigers, who improve to 6-4-1 overall and 2-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
“We played a great team game tonight,” Marshfield coach Eric Bowman said. “Our guys came out focused, and maintained that focus throughout the game. We are starting to play well and as a team as some of our younger players are adjusting to the speed of the varsity game. We need to play with the effort and teamwork we saw tonight consistently as we enter a challenging stretch in our schedule.”
Marshfield has two nonconference road games coming up. The Tigers are at Northland Pines on Saturday and at Rhinelander on Tuesday.
