MARSHFIELD – Danielle Minsaas had 15 points and Quincy Lang added 11 to help the Marshfield girls basketball team to a 54-46 win over D.C. Everest in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Friday night at Marshfield High School.
Minsaas, a freshman, was 6-for-11 from the field and made a pair of 3-pointers, and Lang was 3-for-3 from 3-point range for the Tigers, who are now 4-4 overall and 3-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
Kaydee Johnson added 11 points and eight rebounds for Marshfield.
D.C. Everest drops to 2-8 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
Marshfield hosts Chippewa Falls for a nonconference game on Tuesday before traveling to Wausau East for a WVC game next Friday, Jan. 10.
