Columbus Catholic boys basketball whips Gilman for third-straight win

MARSHFIELD – Columbus Catholic won its third-straight game in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division, blasting Gilman 75-46 in boys basketball action Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Columbus Catholic (5-4, 4-1 Cloverbelt East) cruised out to a 39-18 lead by halftime and held on from there.

Jadon Nienast had 15 points, Tom Nystrom chipped in 13, and Wyatt Drexler had 12 for the Dons.

Andrew Hecker had 22 points for Gilman (1-6, 1-5 Cloverbelt East).

Columbus Catholic plays at Greenwood on Friday.
