STRATFORD – The Stratford girls basketball team limited Abbotsford to just four made field goals and blasted the Falcons 58-12 in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.
Emily Hughes had 13 points and 16 rebounds, and Breanna Ackley added 13 points and 12 rebounds for Stratford, which improves to 4-8 overall and 3-5 in the Marawood South.
Stratford led 24-6 at halftime and wouldn’t let the Falcons up for air as it dominated the second half as well with a 34-6 advantage.
Stratford returns to action Thursday at Edgar.
