MARSHFIELD – Marshfield won all four contested matches and defeated Wausau East 72-6 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference wrestling dual meet on Thursday at Marshfield High School.
Marshfield won eight matches by forfeit, East’s only win came by forfeit, and there was a double forfeit at 195 pounds.
In the four contested matches, Marshfield (2-3 WVC) won each by pin.
Shane Westerhausen (113 pounds), Brett Franklin (132), Garrett Willuweit (152) and Jayden Wilhelm (170) each won by pin for the Tigers. Wilhelm’s came in just 1:07.
Marshfield will compete at the Stratford Quad on Friday. The Tigers will wrestle dual meets against Stratford, Amherst and Holmen. The first match against Stratford begins at 5 p.m.
