MARSHFIELD – Loyal pulled out to a 14-point halftime lead and held on from there to beat Marshfield Columbus Catholic 80-69 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
Cole Bogdonovich poured in 34 points and Trevyn Wilke added 19 points for Loyal, which improves to 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the Cloverbelt East.
Eden Jacobson led the Dons (5-6, 4-3 Cloverbelt East) with 20 points, Jadon Nienast scored 17, and Tom Nystrom added 14.
Columbus Catholic plays at first-place Neillsville on Tuesday.
