STRATFORD – Chandler Schmidt had 15 points and seven assists to lift the Stratford boys basketball team to its 12th-straight win, a 72-44 nonconference victory over Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau on Tuesday at Stratford High School.

Stratford led by 10 points at halftime and pushed the lead to 28 with a 38-20 advantage in the second half.

Ben Barten added 13 points and nine rebounds, Vaughn Breit also had 13 points and six rebounds, and Teddy Redman chipped in 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals for the Tigers, who improve to 12-0.

Stratford plays a Marawood Conference crossover game at Phillips on Friday.
