Stratford wrestling wins Marawood dual over Marathon

STRATFORD – Stratford won all five contested matches and eight others by forfeit to beat Marathon 76-6 in a Marawood Conference wrestling dual meet Thursday at Stratford High School.

Logan Gaulke (113 pounds), Jake Heiden (152), Hunter Ford (170) and Beau Gross (220) all won by pin, and Elijah Lucio earned a 14-2 major decision at 132 pounds for the Tigers’ wins.

Stratford will take part in its final Marawood dual meet of the season on Jan. 30 at Edgar.
