STRATFORD – The Stratford girls basketball team dominated from the start and cruised past Chequamegon 60-17 in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.
Stratford held Chequamegon to just four made baskets in the game and improves to 6-12 overall and 5-8 in the Marawood South.
Stratford led 33-4 at halftime on its way to the 43-point win.
Breanna Ackley scored 19 points, and Emily Hughes had 17 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers.
Stratford hosts Auburndale on Tuesday.
