Stratford boys basketball blasts Chequamegon for 17th-straight win

STRATFORD – The Stratford boys basketball team maintained its undefeated record with a resounding 80-38 win over Chequamegon in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.

The Tigers raced out to a 35-18 lead by halftime and finished off the win with a 45-point second half.

Stratford is now 17-0 overall and 12-0 in the Marawood South. Chequamegon falls to 4-12 overall and 2-10 in the Marawood North.

Playing without leading scorer Ben Barten, the Tigers had 12 players score in the win.

Teddy Redman had 12 points, and Dawson Danen and Camden Daul each added 10 points for Stratford.

Stratford returns to action Thursday for another Marawood crossover game at Rib Lake.
