GREENWOOD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team ended a three-game losing skid with a dominating 60-32 win over Greenwood on Tuesday night at Greenwood High School.
Meghan Kibbel and Kelsey Moore each had 11 points, Holly Dean added 10, and Annika Brown had nine for the Dons.
Columbus Catholic (9-10, 8-6 Cloverbelt Conference East Division) led 26-10 at halftime on the strength of 10 points from Brown and six by Jenna Kibbel.
Meghan Kibbel had 10 of her 11 points, and Holly Dean had nine points in the second half to help Columbus Catholic maintain its big lead.
Olivia Klabon made three 3-pointers and led Greenwood (5-13, 2-11 Cloverbelt East) with 11 points.
Columbus Catholic will play at Loyal on Thursday and close out its conference schedule Monday at home against first-place Neillsville. Greenwood hosts Granton on Thursday and Owen-Withee on Friday, before hitting the road for its final conference contest Monday at Gilman.
