During the coming weeks, MarshfieldAreaSports.com will be highlighting area high school senior student-athletes with our Senior Salute series.
The series continues with a look at the Marshfield Columbus Catholic High School softball team.

The Dons won their WIAA playoff opener over Northland Lutheran before falling to Wausau Newman Catholic 5-3 in a hard-fought Division 5 regional final.

*Annika Brown was a four-year player in the Columbus program, playing shortstop and centerfield. Brown will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall.
*Emily Nemitz was a three-year outfielder for the Dons, missing one season due to injury. Nemitz will be attending UW-La Crosse in the fall for Pre-Med with a double major in biology and chemistry.
