NEILLSVILLE – The Auburndale football team won its third straight game, knocking off Neillsville 44-14 in a nonconference game Friday night at Neillsville High School.
The Apaches improve to 4-3 with the win and knock Neillsville to 3-4.
Auburndale is 3-3 in the Marawood Conference and hosts winless Phillips on Oct. 15 with a chance to secure at least at .500 record in conference play and qualify for the WIAA playoffs. The Apaches close the season at Pittsville (3-4 overall and Marawood) on Oct. 21.’
