AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale volleyball team was swept by Phillips in a nonconference match 3-0 on Thursday night at Auburndale High School.
Phillips won 25-21, 25-21, 25-20.
Maddie Krings had 18 digs, Georgi Schmutzer had 27 assists and seven digs, and Brianna Weiler had eight kills for Auburndale. Kaitlyn Kundinger added six kills and 11 digs for the Eagles.
Auburndale (1-1) will play a nonconference match at Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Monday. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com/live-sports.
