Stratford volleyball drops match at Prentice

PRENTICE – The Stratford volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Prentice in a nonconference matchup Thursday night at Prentice High School.

Stratford is now 1-1 this season. Set scores were not reported.

Mikayla Guldan had 16 kills, and Tanaya Schillinger and Lauryn Nagel each had 14 kills for Stratford.

Nagel had 27 assists and Abby Oertel added 24, and Autumn Oertel had a team-high seven digs for the Tigers.

Stratford, which won its opener against Wausau Newman Catholic on Tuesday, hosts Colby for a nonconference match on Monday and will return to Marawood Conference South Division action Tuesday at Marathon.
