SPENCER – The Spencer volleyball team was swept in its home opener by Colby on Tuesday night at Spencer High School.
Colby won 25-9, 25-20, 25-14, to improve to 2-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division. Spencer is now 0-2.
Becca Mlsna had four kills, and Tamara Blume and Hayly Smith each had three kills for Spencer.
Elexa Post led the Spencer defense with 10 digs, and Zalexis Mannigel had eight assists.
Spencer hosts Gilman on Thursday.
