SCHOFIELD – Marshfield won five individual events but came up short in team points, dropping a 105-65 decision to D.C. Everest in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls swimming dual meet Thursday at D.C. Everest High School.
Faith Risa won the 200 individual medley in 2:18.99 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.59, Alyssa Franks took first in the 500 freesetyle in 5:57.02, Courtney Donahue won the 100 butterfly in 1:02.85, and Skylar Onsager was victorious in the 50 freestyle in 26.54 seconds for the Tigers’ five individual wins.
Marshfield placed second in all three relays, and had second-place finishes from Franks in the 200 freestyle (2:11.97), Onsager in the 100 freestyle (59.52), and Donahue in the 100 backstroke (1:08.32).
D.C. Everest remains perfect in WVC dual meet action at 5-0, while Marshfield drops to 3-2.
Marshfield will have its final five dual meets of the season at home, starting with a meet against Wausau West on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
