STRATFORD – Stratford dropped the opening set before rallying to top Abbotsford 3-1 in a nonconference volleyball match Thursday night at Stratford High School.
Abbotsford won the first set 25-22, but Stratford turned things around by sweeping the next three, 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.
Abby Oertel had 27 assists, Lauryn Nagel had 20 assists and 11 kills, Mikayla Guldan pounded home 19 kills, and Tanaya Schillinger added nine kills and a team-high seven digs for Stratford.
Stratford hosts Auburndale on Monday and Rib Lake on Tuesday to wrap up its regular-season schedule.
