MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield volleyball team had its six-match winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss to Wausau West on Tuesday night at Marshfield High School.
West won 25-21, 25-16, 16-25, 25-21, to improve to 3-5 in the WVC. Marshfield is now 6-1 and remains in first place.
Brooklyn Boushack had 16 kills and 10 digs, Taylor Barwick had 26 assists and five service aces, Casey Frankland had 14 digs, and Elise Uphoff had 10 digs for Marshfield.
The Tigers will play at Merrill on Thursday and at home against Wausau East on Saturday before beginning WIAA postseason action next week. Pairings will be announced later this week.
