MARSHFIELD – Alyssa Franks, Courtney Donahue, Faith Risa and Skylar Onsager each won a pair of individual events, and all four contributed to victories in each of the three relay events as the Marshfield girls swim team rolled to a 114-52 win over Merrill in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet Tuesday at Marshfield High School.
Franks won the 200-yard freestyle (2:12.08) and the 500 freestyle (5:45.98), Donahue took first place in the 100 butterfly (1:03.61) and the 100 backstroke (1:08.12), Faith Risa won the 200 individual medley (2:26.72) and the 100 breaststroke (1:16.58), and Onsager was victorious in the 50 freestyle (27.24 seconds) and the 100 freestyle (1:00.57) for Marshfield.
Faith Risa, Donahue and Onsager teamed with Hope Risa to win the 200 medley relay in 2:04.26; Hope Risa, Abbey Boushack, Lauren Olsewski and Donahue won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:57.45; and Onsager, Olsewski, Franks and Faith Risa won the 400 freestyle in 4:08.18 to complete the sweep of all 11 events for the Tigers.
Boushack added a pair of second-place finishes in the 50 freestyle (29.47) and the 100 freestyle (1:06.82), Olsewski was second in the 200 freestyle (2:17.56), and Hope Risa finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:24.05) as well for Marshfield.
Marshfield (6-3 WVC) will finish its conference dual meet schedule Friday at home against D.C. Everest. The meet begins at 5:30 p.m.
