HUDSON – Marshfield senior wide receiver Wyatt LeMoine set a new school record for receiving yards in a game in the Tigers’ 38-26 loss to Hudson in a WIAA Division 1 football postseason game Thursday night at Hudson High School.

LeMoine caught nine passes for 176 yards, breaking the team record for receiving yards of 168 yards set by Ryan Danczak in 2008.

LeMoine caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Trevor Foemmel and Seth Peterson kicked a field goal in the first half for Marshfield, which trailed 21-9 at halftime.

Peterson added another field goal in the third quarter, and Marshfield scored a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter to round out the scoring.

LeMoine scored again on a 26-yard TD pass from Foemmel on a diving play on the left sideline of the end zone, and Foemmel finished off the scoring with a 28-yard run up the middle.

Foemmel finished with 273 yards passing and 83 yards rushing for Marshfield.

The Tigers ends the season with a 2-6 record, which includes a forfeit win over Menomonie in the first round of the postseason.
