OWEN – The Spencer girls basketball team evened its record at 1-1 with a resounding 53-27 win over Owen-Withee in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday night at Owen-Withee High School.

Heavyn Kind poured in 23 points for the Rockets, who are now 1-1 overall and in the Cloverbelt East. Rebecca Mlsna added seven points in the victory.

Grayce Bottlemy had seven points to lead Owen-Withee (0-2, 0-1 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer returns to action Thursday at home against Neillsville.
