GRANTON – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team jumped on Granton early and rolled to a 57-14 victory in its Cloverbelt Conference East Division opener Tuesday night at Granton High School.
The Dons dominated the first half, cruising out to a 35-2 lead by halftime, and pulled away from there.
Meghan Kibbel had 15 points, Hailey Zimmermann added 10, and Maggie Callaghan had nine for Columbus Catholic (2-2 overall).
Megan Walter had eight points for Granton, which was playing its season opener.
Columbus Catholic returns to action Thursday at home against Loyal. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com/live-sports.
