PRENTICE – Emily Hughes had 13 points, and Breanna Ackley added 11 points and five rebounds to lift the Stratford girls basketball team to a 44-20 win over Prentice in a Marawood Conference North-South crossover game Friday night at Prentice High School.
Stratford led 24-13 at halftime and held Prentice (1-2, 0-2 Marawood North) to just two made baskets and seven points in the second half.
Stratford improves to 2-1 overall and in the Marawood South. The Tigers will play at Marathon on Tuesday.
