Marshfield girls basketball drops home game to Hudson

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls basketball team dropped its third-straight game to start the season, falling 58-28 to Hudson in a nonconference game Saturday at Marshfield High School.

Marshfield fell behind 37-21 at halftime and was held to just seven points in the second half, halting any comeback effort.

Marshfield was held to 11 of 41 shooting (26 percent) and made only 2 of 16 3-point attempts in the loss.

Maddie Michaelis scored 13 points to lead the Tigers.

Marshfield plays at D.C. Everest on Tuesday.
