MEDFORD – Medford rolled out to a 16-point halftime lead and held on for a 66-41 win over Auburndale in a nonconference boys basketball game Tuesday at Medford High School.
Medford led 33-17 at halftime and held Auburndale to 35 percent (15 of 43) as it cruised to its third-straight win to start the season.
Hunter Wright scored 11 points and Schuyler Gilhausen added eight for Auburndale, which falls to 1-1.
Peyton Kuhn scored 15 points and Ty Baker added 13 for the Raiders (3-0).
Auburndale will play its home opener Friday against Phillips in a Marawood Conference crossover game.
