SCHOFIELD – Maddie Michaelis scored 23 points for the Marshfield girls basketball team in a 48-43 loss to D.C. Everest on Tuesday at D.C. Everest High School.

The loss was Marshfield’s fourth in a row to start the 2020-21 season. The Tigers (0-4, 0-2 Wisconsin Valley Conference) will play a nonconference game at Oshkosh West on Saturday as they search for their first win.

D.C. Everest (2-2, 2-1 WVC) was led by three players in double figures. Ella Pavlovich had 12 points, and Kiara Hammond and Hanna Stuedemann each had 10 for the Evergreens.

D.C. Everest plays at Stevens Point on Friday.
