Marshfield boys hockey drops home match to Lakeland

MARSHFIELD – Lakeland scored three-straight goals in the second period to push past Marshfield 6-4 in a nonconference boys hockey game Saturday at the Marshfield Ice Arena.

Marshfield led 3-2 after Tyler Reissmann scored and Nick Urban had a pair of goals in the first period.

Lakeland answered with three goals in the second, including two in a span of 27 seconds, to open up a 5-3 lead.

After Ian Sennholz scored for the Tigers late in the second period, Lakeland (3-1) added a goal late in the third to push its lead back to two goals.

Marshfield (2-2) returns to action Tuesday at D.C. Everest in its first road game of the season.
