Stratford boys basketball drops road game at Marathon

MARATHON – Marathon held Stratford to 28 percent shooting and pulled off a 46-30 victory in a Marawood Conference South Division boys basketball game Friday night at Marathon High School.

Stratford made just 13 of 45 shots from the field, and only 2 of 21 3-point attempts in the loss.

Jake Skroch had 10 points, and Camden Daul had nine points and five rebounds for the Tigers, who fall to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the Marawood South.

Marathon improves to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Marawood South.

Stratford plays at Auburndale on Tuesday.
