AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team were all over Nekoosa from the start, rolling to a 70-9 nonconference win Tuesday at Auburndale High School.
Auburndale poured it on in the first half, pulling out to a 54-3 lead by intermission.
Georgi Schmutzer had three 3-pointers and scored 15 points to lead the way for the Eagles (6-2). Annamaire Aue added 12 points and Aliah Hamus scored 10 in the win.
Auburndale will host Neillsville on Dec. 28 and Loyal on Dec. 29 in its annual holiday tournament.
