CHIPPEWA FALLS – Maddie Michaelis scored 22 points and the Marshfield girls basketball team shot a solid 46 percent in a 61-32 thrashing of Chippewa Falls in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Chippewa Falls High School.

Michaelis was 9 of 18 from the field and drilled three 3-pointers for the Tigers, who improve to 3-7 after winning for the third time in their last four games.

Danielle Minsaas had 13 points, seven assists and 10 steals, and Michaelis added eight rebounds and five steals for Marshfield.

Marshfield hosts Wisconsin Rapids on Friday at 7:15 p.m. The game will be live at zaleskisports.com.
