Columbus Catholic boys basketball blows past Spencer

MARSHFIELD – Jadon Nienast and Eden Jacboson each scored 15 points to lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team to an 82-44 win over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Emmitt Konieczny and Grant Olson each added 11 points for the Dons, who improve to 8-1 overall and remain perfect in the Cloverbelt East at 6-0.

Caleb Rucker led the Rockets (1-11, 1-7 Cloverbelt East) with 16 points.

Columbus Catholic will host Chippewa Falls McDonell for a nonconference game Saturday at 7:15 p.m. The game will be live at zaleskisports.com.

Spencer’s next game is Tuesday at home against Colby.
