The Marshfield boys basketball team saw its losing streak extended to four after losing a pair of Wisconsin Valley Conference contests over the weekend.
Marshfield lost a first-place D.C. Everest 57-37 on Friday and at Wausau West 49-43 on Saturday.
The Tigers are now 2-9 overall and 2-6 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
Marcus Hall scored 14 points, on the strength of four 3-pointers, to lead D.C. Everest (7-3, 7-0 Wisconsin Valley Conference) in Friday’s win. Marshfield statistics were not reported.
In Saturday’s game at West, Sam Roherty scored 15 points, making 8 of 9 free throws, to lead Marshfield.
The Tigers shot just 13 of 33 from the field in the loss.
Marshfield will be off for a week before hosting Stevens Point on Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be live at zaleskisports.com.
