Columbus Catholic girls basketball tops Gilman for fifth-straight win

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team extended its win streak to five with a 36-29 victory over Gilman in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Monday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Jenna Kibbel scored 11 points and Maggie Callaghan added nine for the Dons, who even their overall record at 8-8 and improve to 7-3 in the Cloverbelt East with the home win.

Tatum Weir had 11 points for Gilman (3-5 overall and Cloverbelt East).

Columbus Catholic hosts Granton on Tuesday before four-straight road games in the Cloverbelt East. Tuesday’s game will be live at zaleskisports.com.
