The Marshfield boys hockey split a pair of games late last week, losing 9-2 at Wausau West on Thursday before defeating Medford 7-1 on Friday.
Tyler Cleveland had a hat trick and Brady Cleveland scored twice for Wausau West in the win on Friday over Marshfield.
Marshfield trailed 2-1 after one period after a late goal from Adam Zee, but the Warriors responded with seven unanswered goals, five in the second period, to take control.
Payton Smith scored the Tigers’ final goal with 1:22 remaining in the game.
Tristan Reissmann had a hat trick, and Nick Urban, Smith, Seth Peterson and Sawyer Schindler added goals in the rout of Medford.
Marshfield (7-8 overall, 5-3 Wisconsin Valley Conference) will wrap up its regular-season schedule this week. The Tigers host Stevens Point on Tuesday and will be Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday to end their Wisconsin Valley Conference schedule. Tuesday’s game will be live at zaleskisports.com.
Marshfield’s final game is a nonconference contest at Baraboo/Portage on Friday night.
