MOSINEE – Hanna Merkel won a pair of events and the all-around title to lead the Marshfield gymnastics team to a 131.3-112.1 win over Mosinee in a Great Northern Conference crossover dual meet Tuesday at Mosinee High School.
Merkel won the floor exercise with a score of 8.6 and the uneven bars with a score of 8.5 to lead the way for the Tigers. She also finished second in the balance beam (8.425) and was sixth in the vault (8.4) to earn an all-around score of 33.925.
Ellie Jensen won the balance beam with a score of 8.55 and Sophie Nikolay took first place in the vault with a score of 8.65 for Marshfield in the other two events.
Jensen also earned runner-up finishes in the floor (8.55) and the vault (8.55).
Marshfield’s next meet is at home Tuesday, Feb. 2, against Stevens Point.
