MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team doubled up Spencer in the first half and cruised to a 51-35 win in Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons rolled out to a 26-13 lead by halftime and maintain their double-digit lead the rest of the way.

Kesley Moore had 13 points, Maggie Callaghan added 12 and Emmalee Jicinsky had 11 points for Columbus Catholic, which finishes the regular season with an 11-10 record overall and 10-5 in the Cloverbelt East.

Heavyn Kind had 12 points for Spencer (8-8, 4-7 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer will play at home against Greenwood on Thrusday, at Colby on Friday and at Granton on Saturday before opening WIAA postseason play with a Division 4 regional quarterfinal at home against Abbotsford on Feb. 9.

Columbus Catholic will host Granton in a WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinal Feb. 9.
