Marshfield 200 freestyle relay team finishes 20th at WIAA State Boys Swimming Championships

WAUKESHA – The Marshfield 200-yard freestyle relay team set another school record and finished 20th at the 2021 WIAA Division 1 State Boys Swimming Championships on Saturday at Waukesha South High School.

The Marshfield team of Kyle Berres, Sander Marty, Ethan Dagit, and Myles Jensen broke its own school record set last week at sectionals with a time of 1:31.74. The relay team had a time of 1:33.27 at the sectional meet, shattering the old Marshfield school record of 1:35.59 that was set in 1993.

The Sun Prairie team of Ethan Braatz, Avery Lodahl, J.P. Anhalt and Ben Wiegand won the 200 freestyle in 1:22.69, setting a new state meet record.

Sun Prairie won the team title with 232.5 points, with the Greenfield Co-op taking second with 211 points.
