MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team dominated Granton to win a WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinal 65-27 on Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.
No. 3 seed Columbus Catholic (12-10) moves on to a D-5 regional semifinal at No. 2 seed Loyal (11-6) on Friday at 7 p.m. Loyal won both Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchups during the regular season by double digits.
Granton ends its season with a 2-13 record.
Kelsey Moore had three 3-pointers and scored a team-high 11 points for Columbus Catholic.
Maggie Callaghan, Lily Stratman and Jenna Kibbel each added 10 points for the Dons.
Kristin Strey had a game-high 15 points for Granton.
