AUBURNDALE – Hunter Wright scored 20 points to lead four Auburndale players in double figures as the Eagles rolled to a 74-31 win over Stevens Point Pacelli in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal Friday night at Auburndale High School.
No. 2 seed Auburndale (16-5) will play a Division 4 regional final at No. 1 seed Iola-Scandinavia (13-3) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Wright also added nine rebounds for the Eagles, who dominated the first half and cruised out to a 45-16 lead by intermission.
Alex Willfahrt added 13 points, Schuyler Gilhausen scored 11 and Carl Lundgren pitched in 10 for Auburndale.
Wes Peplinski had 13 points for Pacelli, which finishes the season with a 16-8 record.
