WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Marshfield’s Katie Golden was second in the all-around, taking second in the floor exercise and fourth in the vault and balance beam, in the Tigers’ 128.575-117.525 loss to Wisconsin Rapids in a Wisconsin Valley Conference gymnastics meet Thursday.
Golden totalled 31.3 points, coming in behind Lauren Stoiber (32.7) of Wisconsin Rapids in the all-around standings.
Myranda Schmitt also had a second-place performance, finishing iwth a 8.25 in the vault.
Tori Dorshorst of Wisconsin Rapids won the unever bars and vault, Stoiber won the floor exercise and Shawn Hennessy took first in the balance beam as the Raiders swept the four events.
Marshfield will travel to Wisconsin Rapids again on Monday for a four-team meet at Lincoln High School.
