PRENTICE – Riley Bauman tossed a five-inning no-hitter and seven different Stratford players scored three times as the Tigers rolled to a 29-0 victory over Prentice in nonconference baseball action Thursday.
Colten Schillinger, Camden Daul, Bauman, Gavin Kirsch, Adam Lieders, Max Vanderhoof and Tristan Wirkus each scored three runs, Braeden Schueller had four hits, including two doubles, and six RBIs, and Lieders hit a home run to pace the Stratford offense.
The Tigers (2-0) pounded out 14 hits and walked a staggering 19 times in the five-inning win.
Bauman struck out five, walked one and hit two batters, but no Prentice player was able to garner hit against the right-hander. Bauman also added a double and four RBIs offensively.
Stratford hosts Phillips on Friday.
