STRATFORD – Cam Daul threw a five-inning no-hitter and Stratford swatted two home runs in a 10-0 nonconference baseball win over Phillips on Friday at Tiger Stadium Field.
Daul struck out 10 and did not walk a batter, needing just 56 pitches to earn the victory. A hit batter was Daul’s only blemish on the scorecard.
Riley Bauman and Gavin Kirsch each it homers, with Kirsch adding a double and three RBIs. Max Vanderhoof drove in two, and Hunter Ford and Bauman also had two hits in the win.
The win was the second straight no-hitter for Stratford as Bauman threw one against Prentice on Thursday.
Stratford (3-0) opens Marawood Conference South Division action Monday at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. The game will be broadcast online at zaleskisports.com.
