MARSHFIELD – Cole Timmler threw a five-inning no-hitter and Brock Bennington drove in five runs to lift the Marshfield Columbus Catholic baseball to a 12-0 shutout of Owen-Withee on Friday night at Jack Hackman Field.
The only blemish on TImmler’s ledger were a hit batter and a walk as he struck out six in the no-hitter.
Bennington went 4-for-4 with two singles, a double, a triple and five RBIs for the Dons. He also scored three times.
Jadon Nienast and Will Schlafke both scored two runs in the win as the Dons improve to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division.
Columbus Catholic will play a pair of games at the Westby Triangular on Saturday.
