PARK FALLS – To say the Stratford baseball pitching staff is unhittable is not an exaggeration.
Dillon Kirsch and Cam Daul combined on a five-inning no-hitter, the fourth for the Tigers this season, as they rolled to a 14-0 shutout of Chequmaegon in a nonconference game Friday.
Kirsch struck out three in three innings and Daul whiffed five in two innings for Stratford, which is now 6-0.
Max Vanderhoof was 3-for-3 and Daul had three RBIs for the Tigers.
Stratford will have a Marawood Conference South showdown with fellow unbeaten Edgar next week. The two teams will play at Edgar on Tuesday and host the Wildcats on Thursday.
