Stratford softball shut out at Medford

MEDFORD – Medford continued its undefeated season with a 15-0 victory over Stratford in nonconference softball action Monday.

The Raiders scored eight runs in the first inning and went on to win via the 15-run rule after four innings.

Stratford was hurt by 10 fielding errors in the loss, falling to 3-9 this season.

Delani Clausniter went 3-for-4 and scored three times, and Martha Miller earned the pitching win and had two RBIs for Medford (10-0).

Stratford managed only two hits in the loss. The Tigers host Wausau Newman Catholic on Tuesday.
