Stratford baseball knocks off Abbotsford/Colby

ABBOTSFORD – Riley Bauman had three of Stratford’s six hits as the Tigers held on for a 4-1 win over Abbotsford/Colby in a nonconference baseball game Monday at Red Arrow Park.

Bauman, Kale Weisenberger and Jackson Ormond had RBIs for the Tigers, who improve to 11-1 this season.

Dillon Kirsch allowed one run in six innings, striking out seven. Cam Daul finished the game off for the save with a scoreless seventh inning.

Hunter Soyk had two hits for Abbotsford/Colby (11-6).

Stratford plays a Marawood Conference South Division game at Marathon on Tuesday. Abbotsford/Colby returns to Marawood North action Tuesday at Prentice. Both games start at 4:45 p.m.
