STRATFORD – Auburndale scored multiple runs in all five innings and rolled past Stratford 15-2 in a Marawood Conference South Division softball game Tuesday at Hilgemann Field.
The Eagles scored twice in the first, fourth and fifth innings, had four runs in the second and scored five times in the third on their way to the big victory.
Kaitlyn Kundinger went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, Erin Griesbach had three hits and drove in four, and Regynn Lau also had three hits, scored four times and drove in a pair for Auburndale.
Kylie Frischman added a pair of hits and three RBIs, and Samantha Stanton had two hits for the Eagles, who improve to 11-3 overall and 5-2 in the Marawood South.
Stratford falls to 4-13 and 1-8 in league play.
The two teams will meet again Thursday at Auburndale High School.
